Office Opening: OFA-Huntsville

By Judi B. on

OFA-Huntsville celebrated the opening of their office this weekend with supporters, good food, music, and speeches. Regional Lead Clete W. expressed how having a larger space opens up new opportunities:

We needed our own space because we do a variety of things. We don’t just make phone calls, but we need a place where we can coordinate volunteers, and we go out and we canvas. We do “Get out to Vote”, voter registration, and also we want people to come in and just be able to talk about local politics and learn about these candidates.

What’s really amazing is that this army of volunteers has really come out. This is our first step to taking Alabama back, or as I should say, moving Alabama forward.

Here are a few of the highlights:

The office is located at 2835 North Memorial Parkway, just south of Sparkman Drive. Volunteers will be there from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, writing letters, making phone calls, and registering voters.
